In 1994 Dodge released the Shadow Base to the car-buying market. The Shadow came in two configurations: Base and ES. The Base configuration is powered by the 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine, which makes 30 - 33 highway miles and 23 - 26 city. The Shadow competes in the Hatchback market segment, in direct competition with Infiniti.
