Shoppers who buy a Chrysler Sebring are often happy with purchase. For over a decade, the Sebring has been one of the leaders of the Chrysler brand. This has always been a meaningful car, and the 2008 model is no different. A sedan for everyone in the household is what the Chrysler Sebring delivers.
Performance
The restyled Sebring Limited is equipped with a Chrysler 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 16 valves. The GEMA engine is paired with a Chrysler 4-speed transaxle. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Chrysler.
The Sebring uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are drum. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The car uses coil and coil springs front and rear respectively.
The fuel system for the 2008 Sebring is a traditional SFI, running on gasoline fuel. The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The capacity of the fuel tank is 16.90 gallons.
Sebring Limited Statistics
The Sebring is 193.80 inches long, 71.50 inches wide, and 58.50 inches high. It has a wheelbase of 108.90 inches. It is able to seat 4 comfortably.
The standard warranty period for the Sebring is 36 months, or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty also includes a warranty on the drivetrain for Unlimited months or Unlimited miles respectively. This is standard in the sedan market. Extended warranties are also available through the dealer.
The listed retail price in 2008 (MSRP) was $25,840, with an invoice cost of $23,971. This price is slightly higher than the industry average price for a four-door Sedan.
Fuel Efficiency
The Sebring Limited received a miles-per-gallon rating of twenty in-city driving and twenty nine when it came to long-distance. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid car, this was subpar.
The vehicle is available in Bright Silver Metallic, Bright Silver Metallic with Black Vinyl Soft Top, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl with Black Vinyl Soft Top, Inferno Red Crystal Pearl, Inferno Red Crystal Pearl with Black Vinyl Soft Top, Light Sandstone Metallic, Light Sandstone Metallic with Black Vinyl Soft Top, Marathon Blue Pearl, Marathon Blue Pearl with Black Vinyl Soft Top, Modern Blue Pearl, Modern Blue Pearl with Black Vinyl Soft Top, Silver Steel Metallic, Silver Steel Metallic with Black Vinyl Soft Top, Stone White, and Stone White with Black Vinyl Soft Top.
In Summary

I’m liking Kia over Chrysler. It think it’s the difference in reliability. My first Sebring worked quite well, but the second one (a Limited BTW) didn’t fare so well…

I’m tired of Chrysler in general. Come out with something better!
