Chrysler Sebring Engine Specs: The Sebring Base comes outfitted with a GEMA 2.4 liter, 4-cylinder motor that uses 16 valves. The engine, manufactured by Chrysler, is mated to a four-speed transaxle by Chrysler. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Chrysler.

The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are drum. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The Sebring uses power-assisted brakes, with Non-ABS support. Load balancing is provided by coil front springs and coil in the rear.

The Sebring is 190.60 inches long, 71.20 inches wide, and 59.00 inches high. It has a wheelbase of 108.90 inches. It is able to seat 5 comfortably.

The standard warranty period for the Sebring is 36 months, or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. There is also a warranty on the powertrain for Unlimited months or Unlimited miles respectively. This is standard in the sedan market.

The listed retail price in 2007 (MSRP) was $18,445, with a dealer invoice cost of $17,146. This price is in line with the industry average price for a four-door Sedan.

Fuel Efficiency

The fuel system for the 2007 Sebring is a traditional SFI, running on gasoline fuel. The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The capacity of the fuel tank is 16.90 gallons.

The 2007 Sebring gets 32 miles/gallon on the highway and only 24 in the city. This is below average for a sedan car.

    No less than 5 of my friends have a Sebring. I can’t say more than two of them are happy with it…

    Yawn… Not much has changed since 2006 with this sedan.
