Our Review of the 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier RS

The RS is a member of a series of three trim levels for the Cavalier which include RS, VL, and Z24. The two-door car with its front-wheel drive is positioned to aggressively fill this niche for Chevrolet. There is strong competition from vehicles from Infiniti.
Performance
Chevrolet Cavalier Engine Specs: The Cavalier RS comes outfitted with a Vortec 2.2 liter, 4-cylinder motor that uses 8 valves. The engine, manufactured by General Motors, is teamed up with a Hydra-Matic 3-speed transaxle. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Chevrolet.
